Hayley in Dublin signing a copy of Walking in the Air for one of her Irish Fans
and a Walking in the Air Promotional Poster
I Believe the posters are still available at : http://www.hayleystore.com/
Music was my first love and it will be my last Music of the future and music of the past
To live without my music would be impossible to do. In this world of troubles my music pulls me through.

Re: Walking in The Air Signing
I have the poster, which I did get a while back from Hayley's Store via the old bulletin board.
Which brings me to my semi-annual request:
Does anyone have a copy of Walking In The Air they'd like to sell? I can't find it on eBay, never have been able to... and I have had a Want It Now request on there for months on end.
I realize there are only c. 1000 copies out there, and that they hold sentimental value. Nevertheless, I would love to own one, as I am as sentimental as the next guy :D I have called Real Groovy in NZ on occasion, and every so often they see one, but never when I ring. Any person who has 2, 3, however many, care to share the joy? Naturally, I would compensate you well.
This for me would be like having a splinter of the True Cross, the Ark of the Covenant, the Sacred Lance, the Titulus, and the Shroud all in one.
Anyone who would like to talk, well, I have my eBay site, email, MSN, and Yahoo available for viewing and contact.
Hayley rocks this world...

Re: Walking in The Air Signing
Hi Cesium_133,
I think your quest is the quest of all Hayley's fan (Including myself), but I think that who has a copy will not be willing to sell (I will never sell my cd's). You know that a copy was sold a few weeks ago in ebay for US 1,092.00 Dollars? I am quite happy that "Walking in the Air" has reached as high a price, on the other hand I don't have so much money to spend in a CD. I think it will be impossible to achieve that dream.
Greetings from Portugal, Paulo Correia

Re: Walking in The Air Signing
I have the walking in the air poster also, which I got signed at her Belfast concert on 27th April. Don't think I'll be getting the CD anytime in a long while though, or at all, but will keep a look out to see what turns up.
 Thanks Jess :)

Re: Walking in The Air Signing
A message to all forum Members. It is express wish of both Hayley and her family that illegal copies of Walking in the Air do not get out into the marketplace, I would ask that we respect their wishes by not asking for copies and those of you lucky enough to have original copies keep them for their own personal use.

Re: Walking in The Air Signing
The auction mentioned in this thread has been ended... says it was done so by the seller "because of an error in the listing". Mmhmm, ok... maybe an error such as, "Oops, so THAT'S what copyright infringement is... best pull the rest of my counterfeits..." I want to think I might have had something to do with this revelation :D
Snitching is generally not a good thing, mind you, and this was an exception to my personal rule. Were this Katherine Jenkins, Charlotte, Jewel, Sissel, Enya (all great acts), perhaps even Celtic Woman (tough decision there)... I didn't see anything. What bootleg? Fakes? What was I just talking about? Oh, yeah, what I didn't see...
Then, however, there is Hayley, on a plane of her own above all others. So I did it, and would do so again... :) For I like her music and her persona more than I dislike being a rat...
Why doesn't the RIAA go after people like this, if they'll go after Napster-heads?

illegal walking in the air
I read where someone posted that illegal copies of walking in the air are being sold on ebay. I wonder if that is why the one currently available has no bids. How do we know which are the real thing?

It bloomin' well better be lol... because the one I paid $3,100 for, the one of the 70 originally made, came from the same seller. Mine is the real thing, down to the Westenra's phone # (which I won't reveal and will -never- use). This seller seems to be legitimate; he offered this same album before, and it fetched $2,420 or so. He informed me that the top two bidders both backed out for reasons dealing with PayPal, and (apparently) he didn't want to make any more 2nd Chance offers below that amount. From an experienced eBay seller: his mistake now is re-listing this gem at too high a start price. He should have re-offered it at $100.00 or thereabouts, where someone would be willing to make the first bid and others could see the process. Nobody's going to jump at $1,000 out of the gate, as they might feel that they could possibly have gotten it more cheaply with a lower start price. I made the same error when I first started selling clothes on there... If anyone bids on this and wins, use PayPal, Moneybookers, or Paymate, the 3 sanctioned forms of payment eBay allows. If you get a fake, dud, copy, whatever, you can get your money back. If you send a check or cash, or whatever... well, you're putting yourself at risk, and they are not going to help you. And without formally endorsing this seller, the guy seems legit; his rating is good, his communication is good, he ships fast, and he insures his stuff gratis. That sort of service should be what any of us go off when deciding whom to buy from online- be it Hayley's work or anything else. On that note, I'm here to help (via PM) if anyone has questions about buying on eBay relating to Hayley's corpus of works, of which there are more seemingly every week. Whatever I say there would apply to anything else... :)
