Folks, I've been discussing a plan conceived by one of our members, Tom Leaf (ID-phototeach). Tom has proposed to personally deliver, on behalf of the forum, greeting cards to Hayley when he visits the UK in July for some of her concerts. We went with cards because Hayley cannot accept gifts due to the possibility of problems and the huge numbers of
gifts that she already receives. She does cherish cards from people
who donate to her many charities, although that's not a requirement. We want lots of cards !!
Tom is asking for cards with a max size of 5x7(12.7cmX17.7cm) in an unsealed
envelope, inside of a sealed envelope. All must have return addresses, and, if you wish, your email address. They cannot have sound chips of any kind as Tom as to get them through customs. The
message should be short and, hopefully you understand, must be reviewed for appropriate
content at our discretion. We obviously want all cards to get to Hayley.
The cutoff date is 20 July 2009 as Tom is leaving on the 23rd.
